I was able to pass my IFR test with confidence. When I started through the lessons I felt that this might be very daunting, and I felt that for quite a bit of the videos.  As they went along, I started gaining an understanding of the relationship between each of the lessons and how they all fell together.  By the end I understood each principle and why they were important.  Thanks to the Kings for the format and how it works well with my learning style.Paul

I found this course work to more than adequately cover all of the material that I needed for the Instrument Ground Instructor and the FII Knowledge tests.  It took me about three weeks of evening study to work through all of the modules and drill on the practice exams.

I've had my instrument rating for ten years and this was an excellent refresher. I plan to incorporate this into my regular proficiency training.

Getting ready to take my flight test, and this is exactly what I needed to calm my nerves and know what to expect.

Always enjoy learning with John and Martha.  Easy to learn and study using their program.

The course is great and gave me a level of understanding far beyond what I would have if I had merely memorized the questions.  However, the questions on the FAA exam were quite different than the ones given on the King practice tests.  That definitely increased my “pucker factor” when I began anwering the questions on the FAA knowledge test.  Luckily, the course gave me enough general IFR knowledge to work my way through the most of the questions and finish with a passing score.  However, I don’t believe I will exclusively rely on the King courses going forward to ensure that I pass FAA exams.

With help from the King IFR course I was able to pass the written test the first time. From someone who has taken the written, let me assure you that it is no walk in the park. The FAA has made this test really difficult and hard to pass, but if you will study like John and Martha recommend , you will pass too.

I was expecting over 95% but I think I made some obvious mistakes so I received an 80%. I did 97% in my private using Kings School but hey I at least passed the IRA. Now on to Oral and Checkride.
