So this is the 3rd course I have taken through kings...Absolutely love John and Martha's ability to make the fire hydrants worth of information not only stick, but recall as well.  The instrument ground took 4 days to get through, then another week to do it again (while taking notes)...then 10 days of studying before the IRA, to which I got yet another 100%!!!

The Instrument Rating Ground School & Test Prep Course was very helpful in preparing for the written. I followed the course exactly as recommended. It took many, many hours to review all of the questions. I was also very happy with the Instrument Rating Practical Test Course. It very thoroughly explained what can and will happen during your Instrument checkride; oral and flight.

I found that the King videos teach to the test. Make sure you study each of the points that they call out in the videos. You will see it on the test.

Kings School is an extremely helpful source, they make sure you know all the information necessary, and it is possible to complete in a timely manner (I completed the instrument written course in 2 weeks)
