I was able to do this course in my downtime at work and on the weekends. Videos are thorough, fun, and very knowledgeable.

I have followed the same course of action from private certificate through instrument and now commercial, passing my commercial pilot practical yesterday! I use the King School's course, then review some books and regulations. The King courses give me a solid base of understanding without boring me to death like so many others I've tried. Onto CFI!!!

I enjoyed the course and was successful on passing my Commercial Pilot Ground School

I used this training content to review and think about the Commercial Maneuvers in preparation for a BFR after 13 break in flight.  I found the methodical approach to each of the maneuvers with a demonstration of the real event to be a good refresher of the steps and visualizing what is going on within the aircraft as you execute these.

CLEAR AND VERY EASY TO UNDERSTAND THE REQUIREMENT FROM THE EXAMINE

Sorry to be harsh, but I was very disappointed.  I’m a 28 year air traffic controller and 16 year private/instrument pilot who’s worked in large and small terminals and a center.  This is absolutely the worst/most unrelated to the test course I’ve ever taken.  When I showed up for my test today, it was as if I had not studied one bit of what was on the test.  My score of 89 had absolutely nothing to do with this course.  It appeared as though the test had been updated but not the course.  I’ve used King courses for my private and instrument tests, they were great.  This one was not.  It was also cumbersome to go back and find anything specific for review.  In some of the videos John and Martha were about 20 years younger than in others.  I expected better from King.  Without my years of aviation experience to fall back on, I probably would’ve failed this test.

Though the videos are a little out dated, the information was valuable. I learned exactly what to expect on my checkride and used this information in my preparation. The checkride followed pretty much exactly what I went through on my checkride. This was a great course and I recommend it for anyone taking their checkride in the near future.
